Gunnison County Tobacco Education and Prevention Project (GCTEPP) provides resources and support for individuals, families, worksites, and communities in Gunnison County. Prevention services include access, support, and education for:

GCTEPP's goal is to reduce the number of tobacco related disease and deaths in Gunnison County. We work to prevent youth and adults from initiating use of tobacco products, support cessation, educate, and help prevent the community’s exposure to secondhand smoke.

Colorado is celebrating 10 years of smoke-free indoors!

July marks the ten-year anniversary of a state law designated to protect Coloradoans from exposure to secondhand smoke. In the ten years since the Colorado Clean Indoor Air Act went into effect, there are 100,000 fewer smokers in Colorado. Gunnison County has made great strides in protecting residents from the harms of secondhand smoke but there is still more work to be done!
