Assistant Finance Director: Full Time, $57,890 - $81,884 + Benefits
Gunnison County is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Finance Director. This position works under the general supervision of the Finance Director and performs technical and administrative accounting work in maintaining the fiscal records and systems of the County. Essential duties and responsibilities include assisting in preparation of the annual audit, and working with the Finance Director in preparing the annual County budget. Education and experience requirements include graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in accounting, finance, business or public administration, or a closely related field and three years of progressively responsible governmental accounting or finance work, or any equivalent combination of education and experience deemed appropriate.

Child and Family Services Manager:  Full Time, $53,543 - $75,735 + Benefits
Gunnison County Department of Health and Human Services seeks a highly qualified Manager for the Child and Family Services program area. This upper level managerial position assures quality child welfare services through direct service, supervision of the other child and family services case work staff members, and leadership in community collaborations and other child and family serving groups.  The Manager assures compliance in child welfare practice in accordance with guidelines set forth in the Colorado Children’s Code and Staff Manual Volume VII.  The candidate must demonstrate values and experiences consistent with collaborative management practices, progressive child welfare practices, and a solution-focused forward thinking leadership style.

Education and experience include at least a bachelor’s degree in one of the human behavioral science fields. In order to meet the educational requirements of a human behavioral science degree, the major course work (equivalent to 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours) in either development of human behavior, child development, family intervention techniques, diagnostic measures or therapeutic techniques.  Three years of full-time professional social casework experience acquired after the degree, in a public or private Human Services Agency. Master’s degree in one of the human behavioral science fields or a BSW degree accredited by the Council on Social Work Education may substitute for one year of the required experience.  Supervisor Certification through the Colorado Department of Human Services Training Academy is preferred and required no later than 6 months of hire.

Extension Program Assistant; Part Time, $18.87/hour
The CSU Extension office is accepting applications for the position of Extension Program Assistant.  This is a 40-hour per week position that runs from April through September of each year.  The starting salary is $18.87/hour.
