Reappraisal Sales

Property is revalued in Colorado every two years.  The changes in the value of homes and vacant land reflect market conditions in the county from July 1, 2004 to June 30, 2006, adjusted forward in time to June 30, 2006, the last date of the appraisal period.

For commercial real property, the sales study period is from July 1, 2003 through June 30, 2006.

The attached spreadsheets list the sales in the 2007 reappraisal study period, which ended on June 30, 2006. These sales are used to set value for 2007 and 2008, which are reflected on the tax bills mailed in January 2008 and 2009.  In January 2010, the tax bill will reflect the 2009 reappraisal study period, which will extend from July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2008.
