The Building Board of Appeals is a voluntary citizens group appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. Members don't formally represent specific geographic areas of the county or specific disciplines. However, the group usually includes members from a range of communities and backgrounds.
The Building Board of Appeals meets as needed, so does not have regularly-scheduled meetings.
The Building Board of Appeals is responsible for reviews that involve appeals from persons who disagree with the Building Inspector's interpretations of building codes.
