Medical Insurance


Gunnison County offers eligible employees two partially self-funded medical plan options.

  • Traditional Plan
  • High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) with a Health Savings Account (HSA)

Effective September 1, 2017, the medical plan was modified to be a single level plan. There are no benefit differentials when using network or non-network providers.

Once Enrolled

Upon enrollment, employees must commit to remaining on medical insurance until the following January unless there is a change in family status.
