County Road 38/ Gold Basin Users
Effective March 15, 2024, County Road 38 (Gold Basin Road) will be closed at the gate just past the shooting range to protect the road from resource damage. Property owners beyond the gate will be given access upon proof of ownership. There will also be a ten (10) ton weight limit during this closure. The closure will be lifted when conditions allow or on May 15, 2024. Please contact Gunnison County Public Works Department at (970)-641-0044 with any questions.
