  • The title on property can be changed only by a recorded deed which you must take to the County Recording Office before the Assessor’s and Treasurer's records can be modified to reflect any changes. The County Recording Office is located in the Blackstock Government Building 221 N. Wisconsin St. Suite C Gunnison, CO 81230.

  • Yes you may, through a company we outsource through and they accept online payments only, no phone payments. To do this, go to the home page of the Gunnison County website, and towards the middle of the page there will be a green bar with a list of different services and you will see "Online Payments" there. Click on it and it will take you to the website. Please make sure you have your account number handy and the exact amount you are paying. If you are not sure what that amount is please call our office.
